  • $\begingroup$ This might work better as a worm. First 3 stay the same, 4th could refer to fishing (they come out when it rains, fish bite better), they are usually some shade of brown. $\endgroup$ – David Starkey Sep 1 '16 at 13:33

    $\begingroup$ "no legs when I check" just is a funny way of saying no legs. Like, "I checked if I had legs -- I looked down -- but I didn't." $\endgroup$ – 6005 Sep 1 '16 at 18:27
