For example, the classic 15-puzzle is played on a 4x4 square with 15 tiles numbered 1 through 15. The goal is to slide the blocks in a such a way as to end with the numbers in sequential order, starting with 1 in the top left corner.

The classic Klotski puzzle involves sliding rectangular blocks of different sizes, usually with the intention of getting a designated block into a designated area on the board.
