Questions tagged [printers-devilry]

A variety of cryptic crossword puzzle in which strings of consecutive letters have been removed from each clue, and the remaining letters respaced (but their order kept the same) to form a new sentence. The removed strings are the solutions of the crossword. Inserting these solutions in the right place and respacing the clue's letters (again, keeping the same order) yields the original sentence.
