Mary has a password-protected smartphone, but she is not very good at remembering numbers. She decided to come up with a simple mnemonic, "My favorite things are MILK and EGGS."

Her password is 4-digits long. What is it?

Maybe her 4-digit password is:

$9902$

Reason:

Check on the phone's number pad, MILK and EGGS represent $6455$ & $3447$ respectively.
And she likes the both, so add them up, and answer is $9902$.

  • $\begingroup$ Good idea to base your answer off that. 'And' implying adding might be a good shout, but to me this seems more difficult than just remembering the 4-digit number! I fear this question may be a bit too broad as it stands...! $\endgroup$ – Stiv Nov 21 at 10:30

  • $\begingroup$ My recipe of scrambled eggs is Eggs+Cream or Eggs+Butter, and seasoned with salt & black pepper :D $\endgroup$ – Conifers Nov 22 at 5:49
  • $\begingroup$ You forgot that it''s Mary now whose preference is important haha $\endgroup$ – Archipelago Nov 22 at 12:34
