What number, when used to represent all numbers, can be used to represent something else?
To get credit you need the number and the reason behind it.
Given the answers so far I feel I should clarify a couple of things.
- "Used to represent all numbers" in this context would be closer in meaning to "Used as a symbol to represent the set of all numbers" than "Used for its property of containing all numbers".
- This puzzle focusses on play-on-words mechanics more than maths mechanics.
To be clear, the only things you need to solve this puzzle is a dictionary and a knowledge of numbers in the number line. Any maths above that is too much.
A possibly improved wording?
What number, when used to represent all numbers, is a tame anagram of itself?
