This is the first question for the new Fortnightly Topic Challenge #5: Literature. My inspiration source was a TV show.

I wanted to read some books during holidays, so a friend sent me a list of some international classic books. Unfortunately he recently discovered Emoji's, and most of his communication attempts look like this:

1. โ“๐Ÿ—พ 2. ๐Ÿ”ด๐ŸŒ 3. ๐Ÿ—ป๐Ÿ—ป๐Ÿ˜จ 4. ๐Ÿ›„๐ŸŽฏ๐ŸŒ 5. โ˜๏ธ๐Ÿ•˜๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ€ 6. โž•๐Ÿ‘ค๐Ÿ‘ค๐Ÿ‘ค๐Ÿ‘ค 7. ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿšข๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿ‘ฎ 8. ๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”

Can you help me to find out which books he recommended?

Each author has written 2 books in this list.

$\begingroup$ I felt very stupid for getting 5 last by a fair bit when I had 8 as my first answer! Enjoyed it quite a lot, though - a puzzle doesn't have to be hard to be well designed. $\endgroup$
