  • $\begingroup$ To make it more challenging/interesting, I suggest you disallow prefixes and suffixes... $\endgroup$ Jul 7, 2015 at 19:26
  • $\begingroup$ Plurals are fine. Prefixes/Suffixes are fine. Overlaps are not. $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ Is "arianism" a word? $\endgroup$ Jul 7, 2015 at 19:26
  • $\begingroup$ @rand - No, it's conjoined suffixes. If we're going to do that, why not make it antidisestablishmentarianistic for a nice round 30 $\endgroup$

  • $\begingroup$ @randal'thor Yes it's a word : dictionary.reference.com/browse/arianism?s=t $\endgroup$ Jul 7, 2015 at 19:39
  • $\begingroup$ @user12365 arianistic exist but not antidisestablishmentarianistic $\endgroup$ Jul 7, 2015 at 19:40
  • $\begingroup$ You aren't using it in that way. You're using it as -arian (being of the belief of something) -ism (acting on something). $\endgroup$

Not sure if this is valid, but the word is

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

45 letters!

Which can be divided in:

Pneumo no ultra microscopic si lic o volcano coniosis

Also, this can be divided as:

Pneumo no ultra microscopic sil ico volcano coniosis

And, in order to really abuse the spirit of the question, this can be divided even in this way:

P n e u m o n o u l t r a m i c r o s c o p i c o s i l i c o v u l c a n o c o n i o s i s

I got

pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis

Words:

pneum ono ultra microscopic silico volcano coniosis

May seem a little sketchy but it’s still valid. (Btw if your sketchy about Ono then https://www.thefreedictionary.com/Ono)
