Sep 21, 2016 at 14:00 comment added Dan Russell @PerHornshøj-Schierbeck Yes, you have to make some guesses/assumptions (like the numbers increase left-to-right and bottom-to-top) but either way you can see that the number I've assigned to 5 must be between the one I've called 4 and the one I've called 6.
Sep 21, 2016 at 13:55 comment added Puzzle Prime @PerHornshøj-Schierbeck you can see that the black/white tree is followed by the bubble tree and after it comes the wider tree. Therefore they must be 4, 5, 6 in this order.
Sep 21, 2016 at 8:51 comment added Per Hornshøj-Schierbeck Ok i can see the pattern because the first tree(digit) changes at that position, but the numbering of 4,5 and 6 is still not clear to me, plus i think you could argue other numbering strategies...
Sep 21, 2016 at 8:41 comment added Per Hornshøj-Schierbeck @DanRussell What is the logic behind the (correct) numbering of the trees? How did you pick 0,1, etc on those trees?
Sep 20, 2016 at 20:14 comment added Puzzle Prime You are right Dan, this would make it definitely nicer. On my site I've added an entry box so that it is easy to try different combinations though, so I think it is easy to check both options there. Glad you liked it.
Sep 20, 2016 at 20:09 comment added Dan Russell @ArturKirkoryan The only "wobble" is that the Teddy image can be overlaid as I did, or as it would be in the frame (horizontally flipped). That still only leaves 2 final possibilities, but if you wanted to be 100% sure you could add a little "alignment mark" which would line up when you overlaid the images properly and confirm the orientation.
Sep 20, 2016 at 20:08 comment added Dan Russell @ArturKirkoryan No real suggestions for improvement! I really like this series of puzzles and just checked out Puzzle Prime a bit. Very cool stuff.
Sep 20, 2016 at 20:07 comment added Puzzle Prime @LukasRotter, actually the symbol was supposed to be a mix of a compass/the sign of the Zodiac Killer/the origin of the axises.
Sep 20, 2016 at 20:05 comment added user14478 Damn it, I was so confident that the symbol in the lower left corner had something to do with XOR :(

Sep 20, 2016 at 20:04 comment added Puzzle Prime That's right, the trees are the encoded coordinates of the map. Thanks giving such thorough solution, if you have any suggestions for improvement, feel free to share:)
