Admittedly, though, for $10001$ bounces and $1000001$ the process was slightly different because in those cases the big triangle has an even side. Still, the $11$ bounces cases has a big triangle with an odd side and the results match, although perhaps that's because the case is too small for error to show up. At this point I've revised my solution multiple times and haven't quite found a mistake. | |
