Mar 16, 2023 at 18:09 | comment | added | isaacg | Note that we can avoid the double factorial in 187 by reusing Retudin's solution: (11!)!*.01 + 1 + (0! + 0! + 0!)!. But there's no need, as both are allowed.

added 173 from Retudin

Mar 16, 2023 at 16:56 | comment | added | Bernardo Recamán Santos | Better write the above as (11!)! x 0.01 - (0!+0!+0!)!
Mar 16, 2023 at 16:50 | comment | added | Retudin | 173 = 11!! x .01 - 1 - (0!+0!+0!)!

Fixed repeated factorials, added isaacg's 199 solution.
|
Mar 16, 2023 at 15:40 | comment | added | isaacg | 199 = (100! + 0!)/(.1^11) - 0!. This uses the fractional point with no leading digit, and it's unclear whether that's allowed, so I've asked for clarification
Mar 16, 2023 at 15:31 | comment | added | Weather Vane | So either mine needs to be deleted, or the others need parentheses applying.
Mar 16, 2023 at 15:29 | comment | added | Weather Vane | @JaapScherphuis (I thought) many of the solutions listed had a double factorial!!
Mar 16, 2023 at 15:08 | comment | added | Jaap Scherphuis | @WeatherVane Although factorial are allowed, I'm not so sure double factorials are. It hasn't been needed so far, and earlier expressions with $!!$ were actually repeated factorials (i.e. $11_2!!=3!!=(3!)!=6!=720$, whereas you used $(11_2!)!!=(3!)!!=6!!=6\cdot4\cdot2=48$).

Mar 16, 2023 at 14:22 | comment | added | Weather Vane | @JaapScherphuis you beat me to 188 and 190 by a short stroke, but I added 187.

Typo at 162? Did you mean 10 x 11^100 ?
