Yes, that's what I called out at the end of my solution. An alterative is to switch Charles & Albert. Clue 3 has next to , but clue 4 does not. With this alternative clue 4 could be still be satisfied, as Charles is to the right of the chemistry teacher, even if not immediate right. Either way it doesn't change the answer of who the geometry teacher is.

However I'm confused if the clue mentions that the physics teacher had differences with Albert, wouldn't it be a logical deduction that those two people would not sit together?. Initially I had problems at trying to figure this. But I in the end I had to resort into placing Albert next to Physics. As you mentioned I also got to the same dilemma regarding Albert. But I believe the intended approach was to point out that maybe he is not the physics teacher. Do you agree?. | |
